ASAHI PHOTO wedding and event photographer in Ottawa, Gatineau and Montreal

Born in Paris where he spent most of his youth, Eric is implicated at a young age into high level competitive sports. Having won many athletic national championships, he retired after receiving the title of France Espoir Champion. He then started his adventure.

Things went fast for him. A foreign agent offered him a large contract and he was swept away in the world of fashion.

As an international model, his career brought him to the four corners of the world. In the next 17 years he lived between New York, Milan, London, Munich, Tokyo and Paris.

His love for Japan, where he lived for five years is unthinkable. In this country he developed his inspiration. The images, taste and culture, the sense of perfectionism and detail will inhabit him. He will take his strength from the beauty of the landscape and the architecture. During those 17 years Eric worked with renowned photographers and acquired his photography experience in the field.

He now resides in Québec with his wife whom he met in Japan. Taken by the Canadian landscapes, the search for detail and natural beauty in a contemporary style that mixes editorial, assignments and glamour is why Asahi Photo was created.
